This infographic examines James Baldwin’s shift from viewing love as a path to Black liberation to embracing a more apocalyptic vision following the deaths of Dr. King and Malcolm X. Drawing on Dan Sinykin’s “James Baldwin’s Apocalypse” and redrawing Stanley Chow’s illustration, I reimagined a Millerite-style poster that charts this transformation.
